simply as no one thought 90s denim jackets would become so deluxe, I believe this is a next-vintage piece from the late 2000s.
The fabric has a chambray feel and is thin. You can wear it as a shirt even though it's a jacket. The white buttons prevent it from being as heavy-handed as denim, allowing for chic outfits.
