I just don’t use it like I thought I would because I have mostly carpet. It sits on it pretty well with only the bottom of the pedal side not fitting all the way down in it. I believe it would work to transport room to room but I don’t feel like it would work to step on the pedal to ring out the mop without tipping over faultless for everyday use. excellent materials and excellent craftsmanship ensure long-lasting durability.
